The following is a list, with inscriptions, of the memorials in the South West section of the churchyard. They are listed in alphabetical order. SW/R5M2 - In loving memory of Jane Ann daughter of the late William Alcock, of Birch House, Keswick, who died Aug 13th 1910 aged 56 years. Also of Elizabeth, the widow of William Alcock of the above address died Dec 30th 1914 aged 79 years. 'Rock of ages cleft for me'. 'With Christ which is far better'

SW/R4M7 - Sacred to the memory of Mary, the beloved wife of John Blaylock, died at Grisedale Lodge in the Parish April 14th 1894, aged 60 years. Also of the above John Blaylock who died Nov 22nd 1920 aged 83 years. 'His end was peace'
SW/R4M1 - In loving memory of Mary, wife of Robert Bownass of the Ullswater Hotel, Patterdale, who died March 13th 1900, aged 72. And the above Robert Bownass who died August 28th 1917, aged 87.
SW/R5M1 - To the dear memory of Thomas Bownass, died 11th September 1931, aged 70 years. Also of Minnie, his wife died at Sandown 29th Novr. 1942, aged 80 years.
SW/R1M4 - In loving memory of Alvin Brown, died 12th December 1948, aged 54 years. Also of Wilhelmina Marr died 25th June 1964, aged 71 years. Alice Mounsey 1895 - 1991.
SW/R4M6 - In loving memory of Septimus, the beloved son of Edward and Isabella Close who departed this life at Patterdale Hall, February 18th 1889 aged 20 years and 4 months.
SW/R1M3 - In loving memory of John, the beloved husband of Margaret Coward, of Grassthwaite Howe, died Oct. 25th 1948, aged 77 years. Also their daughter Marjorie, died Dec. 19th 1926, aged 19 years. Also of the above Margaret Coward, died March 22nd 1955, aged 78 years. At Rest.
SW/R2M2 - In loving memory of William E Cross who died July 30th 1948 aged 63 years. Also his beloved wife Nora Annie who died Dec. 5th 1971, aged 82 years
SW/R7M1 - In loving memory of Rachel, wife of Robert Grisdale Home Farm Patterdale, who died on the 16th day of September 1901 aged 54 years. Also of the above Robert Grisdale who died February 3rd 1912 aged 67 years.
SW/R2M5 - In loving memory of Robert Walter Hadfield died 8 September 1945 aged 75 years.
SW/R7M4 - I.H. 1889 (This is the footstone for Isabella Harker whose headstone is at R6M2)
SW/R4M2 - Mary Rachel, daughter of George Hart of Roydon, Norfolk. Died at Patterdale Hall sep 2 1882 aged 51 years. 'In as much as ye hath done it unto one of the least these, ye have done it to me'.
SW/R1M1 - In loving memory of Alice B. Hislop wife of James A. Hislop M.D. D.P.H. of Hartsop, who died Oct. 10th 1947. Also, the aforesaid James A. Hislop who died at Hartsop Dec. 31st 1960 aged 95 years.
SW/R4M5 - In affectionate remembrance of Elizabeth Mary Ann Hobson of Croft House Glenridding, born Oct. 19th 1823, died April 15th 1898.
SW/R3M5 - In loving memory of Agnes Hannah, daughter of Joseph & Margaret Hodgson of Hartsop, who died April 11th 1890 aged 18 years.
SW/R5M5 - In loving memory of Hannah, the beloved wife of William Hutton of Armscote, Sandon Road, Edgbaston.
SW/R2M1 - Treasured memories of our dear parents Joseph and Margaret Jenkinson who died 21 Dec 1946 and 7 Nov 1957.
SW/R7M2 - D.K. 1898 (This is the footstone for Dorothy Kidd but there is no headstone)
SW/R6M5 - In loving memory of John William Lancaster, who died 9th April 1901 aged 36. Also of his wife Elizabeth Annie, who died 15th July 1907 aged 44. Also of their son Col. Alexander Stalker Lancaster C.I.E., O.B.E. late 10th Gurkha Rifles died 4th Oct. 1967 aged 74.
SW/R3M3 - In loving memory of John Mounsey of Penrith who died at Melkinthorpe 22nd April 1925, aged 80 years. Also of Mary his wife who died at Penrith 14th July 1895, aged 46 years. 'Until the day break and shadows flee away'
SW/R2M4 - In loving memory of James Pattinson, Eagle Farm, died 20th Feb. 1953, aged 77 years. Also Emma Jane Pattinson, died 2nd Feb. 1949, aged 76 years. Also Annie Pattinson, died 12th Sept. 1946, aged 60 years.
SW/R6M4 - Here lies the body of William Pattinson M.A., Rector of this Parish, who entered into rest November 25th 1891 in his 75th year. Also of Ellen his wife, died July 25th 1895, aged 68 years.

SW/R2M3 - In loving memory of William Porter, died 16th July 1950, aged 52 years. And of his dear wife Annie, 1894-1988
SW/R6M1 - In loving memory of Sarah Jane Ralphs, died at Whitstable 14th March 1945 aged 83. 'At Rest'
SW/R5M6 - In loving memory of Rebecca, wife of Henry Richardson of Penrith Solicitor, born 14 May 1850 died 21st Sept. 1914. Also the said Henry Richardson who died March 25th, 1916 aged 68 years.
SW/R1M6 - In loving memory of William Robinson of Patterdale Hotel who died March 21st 1948 aged 74 years. Also Mary his wife who died May 22nd 1958 aged 81 years.
SW/R4M8 - Thomas Rogers Botansist & Naturalist of Manchester, born April 11th 1828 who died whilst ascending Helvellyn May 30th 1901. 'Full in the face of Heaven, upon these hills he died, Nature's true lover; of his kind beloved as loving, lulled by the moorland rills and by the sighing of the mountain wind, he soundly sleeps; No fitter place were found for him to rest upon our English ground'. SW/R7M5 - T.S. 1880 (This is the footstone for Thomas Smith whose headstone is at R6M2)
SW/R6M2 - In Memorian, Thomas Smith, Bridge House, Glenridding, and Penrith, died September 29th 1880, aged 71 years. Nanny, his wife died February 13th 1860, aged 49 years, and was interred in Christ Church Yard, Penrith. Isabella, their daughter and wife of William Harker of Patterdale, died June 28th 1889 aged 38 years.

SW/R1M2 - In loving memory of John, the beloved husband of Margaret Teasdale, of Home Farm, who died June 6th 1948, aged 76 years. Also of the above Margaret Teasdale who died at Staveley October 3rd 1967, aged 92 years. 'Peace Perfect Peace'.

SW/R4M4 - In affectionate remembrance of Dorothy Thompson of Croft House, Glenridding, born Augt. 9th 1828, died April 17th 1893.
SW/R1M5 - In loving memory of Dorothy, beloved wife of Leslie Wear of Grove Farm, Hartsop, who died Nov 1st 1949, aged 38 years.
SW/R3M2 - In loving memory of Joseph Wilcock, born at Woolston, Jany 31st 1825, died at Patterdale July 26th 1892.
SW/R3M1 - Mary the beloved wife of, John Wilson of Glenridding, who died June 30th 1897, aged 70 years. Also of the above John Wilson, who died at Rose Cottage, Aug 30th 1908 aged 85 years. 'At Rest'
