THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (A592 BROTHERS WATER, HARTSTOP)
(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Gallagher Ltd on behalf of Electricity North West Ltd to carry out the safe installation of high voltage cabling (“the Works), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour along that section of the A592 Brothers Water, Hartstop from a point approx. 300m south of the property known as “Beatham Cottage” extending in a south westerly direction for a distance of approx. 420m.
No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.

The Order will come into operation on 3 April 2017 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 2 weeks.
