Cumbria County Council have warned that the A592, on the south side of the Kirkstone pass, will be closed for rock inspection purposes for 1-2 days within the five day period starting Feb 27th. The closure will be over a 570metre section approx half a mile north of the Queens Head. Look out for road signs with more precise information.
